I have over 50 years of singing experience. My background is primarily classical, but I also have extensive experience with musical theater, folk, jazz, barbershop and doowop.

I have studied voice with Daun Weiss, Eric Howe, and Heidi Moss Erickson, and lieder performance and German diction with Peter Grunberg, in addition to masterclasses with Rita Lily, Aaron Sheehan, William Fred Scott, Derek Chester, and Maxine Bernstein. I have studied voice science and vocal pedagogy at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music with Heidi Moss Erickson.

In my teaching, I try to combine time-tested, traditional ways of developing vocal technique with the latest insights in evidence-based acoustic pedagogy.

I am available for students 17 years of age and older. I am currently accepting new students, and I teach in person or remotely via Zoom. A first, trial lesson is available at no charge. My studio policies can be found here.
